Year 10 students and their Tanzania Expedition

On Wednesday we said goodbye to the first group of students who secured a place on the Nord Anglia Tanzania Expedition

These Year 10 students over the last couple of months have been busy raising funds for the building materials they will use to enhance the lives and communities of Arusha, Tanzania.

The students were split into two groups, A & B. On the first day of camp, Group A have been busily building goat sheds in a local community whilst Group B went trekking and experience the bush camp and even got to experience a night walk!

During this week students also helped people of Nazaretti, where they visited families and their homes in the local community. They spent the day actively participating in community service work, which included building goat sheds, smokeless stoves, and installing solar powered lights. They even picked out a female goat which will provide the family with milk for the foreseeable future.

Great work team! More photos will be shared on The British School Warsaw Facebook and Instagram pages.
