How can we make our school more energy efficient?

Last week, Ms Hill challenged our Year 5 students to present ideas on how we can make our school more energy efficient and not waste valuable resources.

For their IPC Exit Point, Year 5 presented their ideas to their parents and a member of our school leadership. They used all the knowledge, skills and understanding they had gained from their learning during their unit 'Making Things Go' to share their findings. We had some fantastic ideas from using more renewable energy sources by putting solar panels on the roof, using motion activated lights in the bathrooms to stop wasting electricity and even buying hydro electricity from elsewhere in the country! Year 5 are excited to see which ideas Ms Hill uses to improve our school and make it more green. How could you make your home more energy efficient?
