Global Campus – Current Live STEAM Events and Competitions

It is with great excitement that I can promote a really engaging and superb Global Campus (GC) with an excellent STEAM section.

If you child is passionate about STEAM and wants to challenge and develop their skills and knowledge further, then get them onto the STEAM area on Global Campus.

I will be doing regular updates on what is going on in GC, which only NAE students are privileged to access. All you need is your school email address and password and you can login via https://portal.nordanglia.com/home/WAW - if you don’t have this then get in touch with your class teacher.

Alice programming Challenge (Suggested age appropriateness is Y4 upwards)

Have you ever used Alice Programming? Learn with tutorials and create an animation on Climate Action! Deadline is 18th December

Hello Ruby Coding Challenge (Suggested age appropriateness is Y3 upwards)

The author of Hello Ruby, Linda Liukas, challenges you to help Ruby navigate a variety of tasks. Follow the online tutorials and instructions to help you complete the challenge. No given deadline.

Rube Goldberg Challenge (Suggested age appropriateness is Y1 upwards – Parents get involved too!)

Test your resilience through building Rube Goldberg Machines. Try and try again! There will be a range of these challenges released on 2nd, 16th and 30th September. MIT Challenge 1 (Deadline 4th December)
