What better way to foster curiosity than to encourage the love of reading?
Last term, Primary Reading Agents (a student leadership group who focus on promoting the love for reading among children) asked the school community for help us design a new outdoor reading area. The response from students across the Primary School was outstanding and many creative designs were submitted.
The whole Primary School community voted before Christmas. This week, Reading Agents met to count the votes and we are proud to announce the winners of the competition.
First Place: Can in Year 4
Second Place: Yanhong in Year 2
Third Place: Mishal in Year 5
Well done winners! Each participant has already received a House Point for their entry. Additionally, the winners’ designs will be incorporated in the final design of the reading area. Once built, the outdoor reading area will serve the whole school community.
