We arrived in Warsaw In March 1993, with our three small children. I had been very happy teaching Chemistry in a large Comprehensive school in central London for 6 years, but had to give this up for our new adventure. My eldest daughter joined Reception in September, by which time, the school had already grown exponentially. Finding it difficult to cope without the stimulation of a job, I managed to find work and it wasn’t till September 1996 that a part-time Science job became available for me at The British School. I have been teaching in the school ever since. I have been part of the school’s growth from Primary, to Secondary to IB. Virtually every year has seen a new challenge and it continues to grow and change.
Having a large family, there never seems to be enough time for everything I would like to do. I manage to create time to keep up with current cinema, to read and socialise.
Highest Quality Learning
In my mind, Highest Quality Learning aims to get the best out of the pupils while giving them an exciting learning experience.
