I studied Computer Science at York University and Mathematics at the Open University. In my thirties, I decided to make a career change and went to the University of Bristol to train as a Mathematics teacher. I then taught for two years in Kent, UK before joining Nord Anglia Education at their school in Shanghai. During the six years I spent there, I gradually migrated from the Mathematics department to Computer Science. I am now excited to be part of The British School Warsaw.
I lived in Asia for about 12 years in total, roughly half of which was spent in Japan and the other half in China. My wife is from Shandong, so I will always have strong links to China.
