I am originally from Derby and moved into teaching following my early career in marketing (another of my passions). I studied for my PGCE at 'The University of Exeter' and following UK teaching experience, I have since taught in Prague (where I got married) and most recently, spent three years teaching in Guangzhou, in China.

I have always been passionate about teaching and learning, and enjoyed the ability to do so in a variety of contexts. I graduated from Warsaw University, where I trained to be a teacher of English at the University’s Centre for Foreign Language Teacher Training and European Education. After that, I completed my Master’s Degree in British Literature while teaching English to children, teenagers and adults. My love and enthusiasm towards teaching kids brought me to The British School Warsaw, where I have thoroughly enjoyed working across KS1 and KS2 for a few years before obtaining my PGCEi from the University of Nottingham in 2018. I am extremely excited to join the ranks of Year 1 teachers this year and I look forward to sharing my passion and enthusiasm with my students!
