Year 1 Teacher

I have always been passionate about teaching and learning, and enjoyed the ability to do so in a variety of contexts. I graduated from Warsaw University, where I trained to be a teacher of English at the University’s Centre for Foreign Language Teacher Training and European Education. After that, I completed my Master’s Degree in British Literature while teaching English to children, teenagers and adults. My love and enthusiasm towards teaching kids brought me to The British School Warsaw, where I have thoroughly enjoyed working across KS1 and KS2 for a few years before obtaining my PGCEi from the University of Nottingham in 2018. I am extremely excited to join the ranks of Year 1 teachers this year and I look forward to sharing my passion and enthusiasm with my students!

My favourite things to do outside of the classroom include reading, learning languages, photography, travelling with my husband and spending time with our pets: a black-and-white husky and a black cat. Coming from a very musical family, I also love spending my free time singing anything from jazz to opera and constantly expanding my eclectic taste in music.
