Rebecca Hunter

Year 5 Learning Leader & Year 5 Teacher

I am very excited about becoming part of the TBS Warsaw community in September 2019. I am originally from Scotland and attended the University of Edinburgh, where I gained my degree in Primary Teaching.

I have been teaching for 8 years, both within Scotland and internationally. I have taught at the International British School of Bucharest, where I was for 3 years. Previously, I taught at the Garden International School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a dedicated teacher, I ensure all my students succeed through providing exciting learning opportunities, learning from their mistakes and striving to do their very best. I always place the student first and create a warm, inviting environment that students feel safe, secure and comfortable to learn in.

Besides teaching, I love to stay active and in my free time, I enjoy playing sports and travelling, as well as eating or reading a good book! After living in South East Asia for 4 years I have travelled to some amazing countries and seen some of the most beautiful places on Earth, as well as tasted delicious food which I then attempt to recreate at home.

My passion for rugby started when I was young and for the last 11 years, I have been fortunate enough to play in Scotland, Romania and also tour Asia. I am involved in coaching rugby teams both for schools and clubs and have coached both boys and girls rugby for the last 5 years.

I am excited to meet you all, please make sure you come and introduce yourself when I arrive as I enjoy meeting new people.
