Aleksandra Firlag

Even though my beloved grandfather was always saying I would become a teacher, I was not convinced at first and it was only a couple of years after completing my studies that I decided to devote myself to teaching.

I have always been fascinated with English and this is why I decided to study the language, spend time in the USA to do my dissertation research and attend courses in literature and translation.

In the meantime, I graduated from the Department of English Studies at Warsaw University with an MA degree and teaching qualifications.

Before joining TBS, I worked as an EAL teacher and an interpreter. I have been working in the British School for five years now.

Being an avid art lover, I also spent a semester studying photography and theatre in an art school in Denmark. In my free time, I enjoy different crafts and yoga, and work voluntarily at an amateur theatre.
