Christine Lipsey

Head of IBDP

I have taught mathematics in English and International schools for over 15 years across the IB programs in addition to the English national curriculum and IGCSE. I have been lucky to work in many schools across Europe including the UK, Turkey, Germany, The Netherlands, and Latvia where I have also worked as Deputy Head and IB Diploma coordinator. Following graduation from Liverpool University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, my further studies include a PGCE in secondary mathematics, the Principals’ Training Center Certificate in International School Leadership, and a master’s degree from Wilkes University (USA) in International School Leadership.

I enjoy working with students and staff from around the world, where we can learn from one another and share our cultures. When I am not learning, I appreciate exploring and hiking around different counties.
