Working at an inner city school in East London for four years, I taught in both years one and two as well as leading PSHCE across the whole school and the phonic programme. One of my greatest professional achievements thus far is being part of the teaching team that pulled this school from ‘inadequate’ to ‘good’ after a failed OFSTED inspection during my NQT year.
After this challenge, I was ready to sink my teeth in to something new and The British School Warsaw did not fail me in offering the right opportunities; first to teach in a new year group and then to become the Head of Early Years at our Dabrowskiego site. Like the children I teach, I am constantly learning.
My own interests include tasting the many gastronomic delights that Warsaw has to offer, finding really good coffee shops, trying new recipes, listening to 80’s music and running.
