Jaime Pauch

Nursery Teacher

I was born and raised in a small city in Western Canada. I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science degree and a Bachelor of Education degree. In 2010 I moved abroad and began my teaching career. Since then I have had the opportunities to work in Thailand, Dubai, Turkey and now Poland. Along with starting at The British School Warsaw, I will also be beginning my Master of Early Childhood Education through the University of British Columbia this fall.

Throughout my teaching career I have had the opportunity to work with children of a variety of ages.  I am very passionate about teaching particularly in the Early Years age group. I love seeing the joy and enthusiasm towards learning from young students. Their sense of wonder is what drives my teaching forward and I love to be able to facilitate their learning journey. I believe that school should be a happy and warm environment for everyone to come into. It is my goal to provide this for all my students and the parents too.

Outside of school I love to spend my free time with family and friends.  Travelling is a huge passion of mine and I like to spend my holidays exploring somewhere new.  Since I began teaching abroad I’ve enjoyed many wonderful travel opportunities and I am looking forward to continuing to explore more of Poland and Europe.
