My most recent posting is Leman International School, Chengdu, China. My husband and I have taught there for 5 years, during which it became part of the Nord Anglia Group. So we are continuing in a school which sets high standards, though we are looking forward to moving to a larger school where we will meet new colleagues and have new experiences with a European flavour.

I have taught for 25 years including, 14 years in two different schools in China and also in British Schools in Thailand and Qatar. I have been an Early Years coordinator and have attended a number of courses throughout the world related to the Early Years Foundation Stage and International Early Years Curriculum.

After graduating from Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with MA Instrumental Education (Piano) I worked in London as a piano teacher for 5 years. More recently I decided to train as a primary teacher and completed PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. To further develop my knowledge about early childhood education I also studied towards Montessori Diploma at MCI St Nicholas. My keen interest in linguistics led me to complete CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching) validated by University of Cambridge as well as to study towards MA Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at King’s College, University of London.

I was fortunate to work in a wide range of schools in both public and private sector, including one of the top London prep schools in Notting Hill area. I am really excited to be joining TBS and starting my new adventure back in Poland!
