Katarzyna Suchocka

After graduating from Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with MA Instrumental Education (Piano) I worked in London as a piano teacher for 5 years. More recently I decided to train as a primary teacher and completed PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. To further develop my knowledge about early childhood education I also studied towards Montessori Diploma at MCI St Nicholas. My keen interest in linguistics led me to complete CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching) validated by University of Cambridge as well as to study towards MA Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at King’s College, University of London.

I was fortunate to work in a wide range of schools in both public and private sector, including one of the top London prep schools in Notting Hill area. I am really excited to be joining TBS and starting my new adventure back in Poland!

My interests revolve around classical music, Zumba, Pilates and learning Spanish. I also love food and after having an extra piece (or pieces) of chocolate I often play the piano fooling myself into thinking that it is an extremely effective way to burn calories!
