I taught for 8 years in two different London schools, in Westminster and in Fulham before moving to Warsaw. Altogether, I have over 20 years experience in teaching Key Stage 1 children but I have particularly enjoyed teaching Year 2 for the past 6 years, here, at The British School Warsaw. I firmly believe that the best teachers teach from the heart, not from the book.
My interests include music, art, dance, drama, and languages. I can speak Polish and French and I am currently learning Croatian.
In my spare time I enjoy playing the piano, dancing Flamenco, swimming, and walking with my dog - a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Her name is Figa and she looks just like the main character from the cartoon "Lady and the Tramp". I love her dearly and she travels with me and my family everywhere we go. Her favourite destinations are France and Italy, where, like her owner, she enjoys sampling cheese, pasta and cakes.
