I studied pedagogy at the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw and obtained a master’s degree in Pedagogy of Creativity Development.Soon after, I moved to London where I worked for 4 years as a teaching assistant and supply teacher, which inspired me to take my PGCE course at the University of Roehampton. I spent my first year of teaching at a school in London. My experience in a range of roles in education, both in Poland and in the UK, gives me a clear understanding of the different needs of children.
I decided to join The British School Warsaw because of the culture of ambition and striving for excellence, which resonates with my personal ethos.
I love travelling as it gives me an opportunity to explore new cultures and try new cuisines. I enjoy dancing, especially Street Dance, and hope to continue to learn new styles while here in Warsaw. Within the last few years I have developed an interest in the recent history of the Balkans which inspired me to travel to that area. I also love reading and writing my own short stories.
