After obtaining my teaching degree in Primary Education at Birmingham City University, I spent four years teaching in different cities in England. I have had experience teaching in year groups across Key Stage Two and have loved every year group I have taught. In 2016, I decided to take some time to experience different countries and was able to volunteer in Vietnam and teach in a Primary School in New Zealand. While I loved being part of a different community, I felt I wanted to be closer to Europe and be a full-time teacher again so I was very excited to be accepted as a teacher at The British School and live in Warsaw.
As I have already mentioned, I love travelling, meeting people from all over the world and trying different cuisines. I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and the occasional thrill seeking experience, such as skydiving! I love reading science fiction and fantasy novels and loved visiting New Zealand as I could obsess over Lord of the Rings.
