Year 2 Teacher

After completing my A-levels at Repton School, I began training as a Radiographer at a large hospital in Derby but decided that it was not the career for me. Instead, I decided that I wanted to be an Educator. My teaching career commenced in 1996 having completed my degree at the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.

For the next twenty years, I taught at a school in the historic market town of Belper in Derbyshire, UK. During that time, in addition to teaching students in Foundation Stage up to Year 4, I held many roles including Management, Curricular leadership and SENCO. I have since also completed two years teaching in the United Arab Emirates.

I am enjoying teaching at The British School Warsaw and immersing myself into the life of the school. I am a keen Cyclist and Photographer and enjoy exploring the amazing city of Warsaw in my spare time.
