Year 4 Teacher, IPC/Topic Leader Primary

    Katie Hall

After obtaining my primary PGCE at the University of Leicester, I taught for a year at a small village school in Nuneaton, England. After which, I accepted a job at a Nord Anglia School in Doha, Qatar where I worked for four years teaching Year 1 and Year 4 and was the Global Campus leader. I loved every second of being International and decided to further my international adventure by moving to Warsaw. I am extremely excited to be working at TBS and I am looking forward to discovering the beauty of Warsaw and Poland in the future.

Hi my name is Henry and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Year 4 Learning Leader. This will be my first year in Warsaw and I am delighted to become part of the family here. My wife Samantha will teach Reception at the 'Early Years' campus.

Originally I am from Derby and having moved into teaching following my early career in marketing (another of my passions). I studied for my PGCE at 'The University of Exeter' and following my UK teaching experience I have since taught in Prague (where we got married) and most recently, spent three years teaching in Guangzhou, in China.

I completed both of my Bachelor of Teaching and Masters of Education degrees from the University of Newcastle. I have since taught in Australia, the UK, Qatar, UAE and Vietnam, taking on a wealth of varied, successful teaching practises from many different pedagogical theories and curriculums. Much like the educational philosophy of Nord Anglia, these International schools value high educational standards and creating globally minded students.

As a small child my family moved to Hong Kong, which is where I grew up. I completed my teaching degree in London and enjoyed my placements in a wide variety of schools. Throughout my course I specialised in ICT, which is an area that interests me greatly.
Since graduating, I taught in Year 2 and Year 4.  I have worked in primary schools in London.
