During my third year of university, I opted to spend a semester studying abroad in Warsaw, Poland. The experience was life-changing! After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BA in History in 2008, I decided to move back to Warsaw to begin a career in education.
Teaching has long been a passion of mine. I began my career in Warsaw teaching English in a language school. This a lot different to my three years’ experience as a substitute teacher in an elementary school, and I quickly realised that I missed working with children. This led me to join The British School, Warsaw as a Learning Support Assistant in Pre-Nursery. Since then, I’ve worked in Reception and in Year 1 & Year 2. Working at The British School, Warsaw has enabled me to hone my teaching skills and strategies over the past five and a half years. As a fully qualified teacher, I am extremely excited to move into a full-time teaching position at The British School, Warsaw. I am dedicated to creating a positive learning environment, and I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm with my students!
