Year 5 Teacher

My love and interest for teaching comes from my long embedded history with water sports.  After learning to sail at the start of my Secondary school in the UK, I became a sailing instructor at age 16, a windsurf, yachting and powerboat instructor soon after, and pursued this career into the overseas world in Croatia, the Caribbean and Greece as a Centre Manager.  This evolved into an interest in the school based teaching and I decided to join the teaching profession and gained my teaching qualification.

Since then I have had class teaching responsibilities across Key Stage 2 in Abu Dhabi before moving to Warsaw.  Last year I was responsible for leading the Primary PE Team but am very excited to returning to my passion for classroom teaching this year in Year 5!

I am a strong outdoor enthusiast, enjoying not only almost all water sports, but hiking with my family and dog in the mountains, cycling, running, winter sports and Geocaching.  I also love to finish my days with a film and then book before I loose myself to the pillow!  My favorite spread on toast is Marmite, and I can talk about Star Wars until the sun rises.
