Marzena Małaszkiewicz

Marzena Małaszkiewi

Head of Primary Polish

I have been involved in the education of children and young people since 1990. I started work at an elementary school and worked with the youngest children (master's degree in pedagogy with the specialization of initial teachings at the University of Warsaw), then taught the Polish language to children and youth (I graduated from the Faculty of Polish Studies at the University of Warsaw).

I have always been a creative teacher, inspiring my students to take action and search for knowledge. I wrote and implemented the pedagogical innovation "stress-free overcoming the school threshold".  I had publications on raising the level of education at school (I graduated from The Higher Management and Finance School in Warsaw).  I have participated in many courses and trainings improving the ability to actively teach Polish language and promote Polish culture. In 2013, I received the award of the President of Warsaw "Sapere Auso" for outstanding achievements in didactic and educational work. In 2017, I received a distinction: the Medal of National Education Commission.

I joined The British School Warsaw in April in  2018 to teach the Polish Language for native speakers.
