I have been teaching Science for the past seven years, the last four of which have been in Abu Dhabi as the Head of Biology. I am passionate about my subject and prior to completing my PGCE I studied Biomedical Science at Sheffield University. Whilst at University I spent my summer's teaching windsurfing and sailing in Greece and am a qualified water sports instructor.

I am moving to Warsaw with my daughter, Ella, who will join Year 1, and my husband who will be the Head of Primary PE; we are really excited about joining the School and becoming part of your rich community. As a keen ultra-marathon runner I am very much looking forward to getting my trainers on and exploring the incredible countryside in Poland and hope to start up a cross country running club at School.

    Adam Gosney

I have been an international school teacher for 8 years, primarily in the subject areas of Mathematics and I.T. In the latter 4 years of my experience, I had the opportunity to fill a leadership position as Primary Years Coordinator. While the Primary experience was enjoyable and challenging in its own ways, I am eager to join The British School Warsaw as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher. Having always had an affinity for mathematics and after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, I look forward to teaching higher level content and working with more seasoned students.

I was lucky enough to be a Spanish teacher and EAL coordinator at Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School, a large school of over 2000 students in north London.

Having completed teacher training in the UK I have been lucky enough to work in a great variety of schools and now find myself back in Warsaw after being part of the launch team for IB from 2001-2003. How things have changed since we moved from that tiny site at Orkana! I have taught in Kent, Perthshire, Sussex and Lancashire, working as a Head of Department and at various times as tutor, Housemaster and Head of Sixth Form. In 2009 I graduated from the University of Sussex with an MA in Education studies which had a particular focus on international education and specifically the IB Diploma Programme.
