I graduated from the University of Belgrade, Serbia with a MS degree in Speech Therapy and Special Education. I have worked as a Speech Therapist and a Scientist at the Institute for Speech Pathology with children from ages 2-18 years old. In 2007, I moved to Poland where I completed my Montessori Training Course from Canadian Montessori Institute and started to work as Montessori Teacher in an English speaking school in Warsaw.
Recently, I completed my post-graduate studies at the University for Humanities and Social Sciences in Warsaw in teaching English. I also worked as an English Teacher in a Polish public school. Additionally, I was teaching English in a private language school and conducting Speech Therapy lessons both in English and Polish.
I am especially interested in bilingualism in children, and I pursued scientific research on the differences in developing pronouns in English native speaking children and children who were developing English as a second language. I am raising a bilingual child myself.
In my spare time I enjoy reading books and going for walks with my family. My passion is travelling. I love exploring new countries and cities all over Europe.
I think my students always like the fact that I can keep a good balance between being a friendly person, full of understanding for their needs, while also being a person who can provide the discipline necessary for achieving new goals.
I believe a good education includes the child's inner need to discover the world around him by developing curiosity and maximising the child's potential and at the same time, which will help students develop self-esteem and independence.
