I became a teacher relatively recently, in September 2016. At the time, I was working as an IT Project Manager for IBM in Malaysia. My IT career spans 25 years and includes strong ties with education, having previously worked as IT Director at The British International School Jakarta and Senior IT Manager at The Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur, in addition to working at two UK universities as well as the British Council.
Prior to leaving the UK in 2011, I worked for an IT Systems Integrator providing technical and professional services to educational and health sector customers across the UK for 12 years. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and hold a number of professional qualifications including PMP, MCSE and ITIL v3 Expert. I would encourage my students to do the same.
