I am originally from Liverpool in the UK, and studied Business and Leisure management at Manchester University, before completing my post-graduate in Education at the University in Bedford. I have had the pleasure of teaching both Business and Physical Education at GCSE, IGCSE, IB and A Level for almost 20 years. I joined TBS four years ago, after spending almost nine years in Asia, teaching Business Studies and Physical Education both at the British School in Tokyo, where I founded the Business Studies department and SJI International, Singapore. In my role as the IBDP Coordinator I am constantly amazed at how the IB Diploma shapes and forms students at TBS into students for the future. The academic rigour of the course, twinned with the holistic nature of CAS, TOK and EE allows students to develop a multitude of skills that they will continue to develop far beyond their university years.

Having graduated from The University of Brighton, Chelsea School, I have taught both in the UK and Internationally. I have worked in a range of leadership roles for one of the top multi academy trusts in the UK with a heavy focus on school improvement. Internationally, spending 2 years in Cairo, Egypt, gave me the international bug and being part of the IB Leadership team there has inspired me to seek out another exciting opportunity in international teaching.

I’m excited to join the team at TBS Warsaw and provide opportunities for individuals to develop their own personal qualities and learn new skills to take forward into their futures.
