I was born in Amsterdam to Polish parents, but shortly after moved to London where I lived most of my life. I studied physics at Bristol University, and after a year of work, I decided to do a post-graduate degree in Physics at UCL. For a few years I worked in research on various topics while living abroad, such as organic solar cells and a brief stint in biotechnology, managing to publish a few papers before changing career and becoming a teacher. I guess I’m following in the footsteps of my mothers’ side of the family, as she was a teacher, and her mother was a teacher.
Physics has always been one of my foremost passions, alongside mathematics and psychology. I’ve always wanted to understand the world around me and I feel that spending time studying topics from these subjects is a very satisfying venture. I hope to continue extending my passions in science into the classroom at TBS and help forge the intelligent minds of tomorrow.
As someone with many passions, I’m never bored. Whether it’s producing music in my home studio, developing personal websites, travelling around the globe, ripping down a mountain on a snowboard or learning how to cook a new dish, I make sure to take what life has to offer!
