Sally-Jo Seery

After completing my BA honours degree in French with English Literature at the University of Westminster, I gained my post-graduate teaching qualification from the Institute of Education, London.

When I first qualified as a teacher I worked in a junior school in North London, where I taught for three years. My next post was at an infant school. The role involved supporting Literacy across Reception and Key Stage 1, working predominantly with children who spoke English as an additional language. It was here that I discovered my love for the Early Years and I went on to become a Reception class teacher.

My other passions include languages and music. I sing and play guitar in a professional band and have had the privilege to perform in Poland many times over the last few years. I now feel a special affection for the country and am thrilled to have been appointed at the British School in Warsaw.
