I grew up partly on Long Island, New York and in Allen, Texas. I spent 5 years after high school managing restaurants before returning to university. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and a Masters of Arts degree in communication, both from the University of Texas at Arlington. I worked for 15 years in admissions and marketing in higher education before joining the British International School of Washington in 2018 as Director of Admissions & Marketing.
Working at BISW gives me the exciting opportunity to meet families from all over the world and share their success stories at our school with prospective families. The students at BISW are engaged in not only a phenomenal learning environment, they are a part of community of teachers, leaders, parents, and peers that challenge them to grow individually and be ambitious. I’m able to see the impact of BISW in action with my own son, Dominic, who is a proud primary school student.
I enjoy writing and reading stories in all forms: books, films, and television. My family is enjoying getting to know the Washington DC area through its museums, hiking and camping, and experiencing DC’s rich international culture through food and restaurants. I like to cook, eat, and enjoy the company of friends and family.
