Bhuvan Israni

Teaching and Learning Assistant

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Ms Bhuvan Israni has obtained her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Psychology with first division. She also obtained a two-year Diploma in Teaching Special Needs students. Bhuvan has successfully completed several academic courses related to Special Education and Psychology. 

Bhuvan has several years of work experience in teaching special educational needs students in inclusive schools. Before coming to Ireland to pursue her PhD, she was working as a registered Special Needs Teacher with a school of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Government of India (GOI). 

Bhuvan is currently pursuing her fully funded PhD in the School of Management at Technological University (TU) Dublin. She completed an internship at Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), Government of India, in which she prepared a research report on mindfulness.  Bhuvan's PhD research is rooted in mindfulness whereby she is studying the experiences of employees after they have taken a short workplace mindfulness-based intervention.
