David Rafferty joins Nord Anglia International School, Dublin as a TLA (Teacher Learning Assistant) and Primary EAL Teacher (English as an Additional Language) after spending three years teaching English as an additional language in both Spain and Italy. He has prepared students of all ages for various sets of Trinity College and Cambridge Universtity exams, while his core focus is on facilitating students to feel confident and relaxed when speaking English as a second language. He believes that speaking, regardless of level, is the best way to improve in a foreign tongue.
In addition, Mr. Rafferty is part of the team supervising the After School Club at NAIS Dublin, where students can play and be creative once their regular school day has finished, encouraging children to take part in art and reading activities, as well as socialising with their peers.
Mr. Rafferty also has a degree in Business and Management from the Dublin Institute of Technology and enjoys football, photography and films in his free time.
