Jak is originally from Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He studied at Sheffield Hallam University graduating in 2011 before going on to complete his PGDipEd in Primary Teaching in 2015 at The University of Birmingham. This is Jaks' first time teaching internationally. Prior to moving to Hanoi Jak spent 4 years teaching at schools in Birmingham, in the UK. Jak taught Year 6 for 3 years and then subsequently taught Year 4 for one year. During his time teaching Jak has fulfilled the role of Year Group Leader at his Primary School, in both Year 6 and Year 4, he has also completed his MA in Teaching Studies whilst working full time. Outside of teaching Jak enjoys to travel, meet new people and experience new cultures. He is passionate about sport and enjoys taking part in a variety of physical activities including football, cricket badminton and skiing.
