The magic we witnessed on stage at the Northbridge International School Cambodia performance of CATS on the evening of Thursday 5 March came about as a result of hard work, dedication, resilience, confidence, pride, determination, but most of all caring! That is what theater is about.

This performance was without doubt special for each and every one of us. We invested ourselves in a process. We set the bar high, and would accept nothing less than exceeding even our own expectations. We all worked hard for that moment!
When choosing this musical, we knew right from the start the bar would be high. This was not a children’s production. It was the original West End / Broadway version. The vocabulary was highly challenging, and the range for the vocals extremely wide. If we did not function as a team, this never would have become the magical experience that it did.
To our cast parents, and super moms, this show does not happen without you! From attending every rehearsal, to bringing our CATS to life, you are a huge part of the NISC Players Family, and we appreciate each and every one of you!
From day one, we worked hard for this together, as a team, as a family! To the teachers, admin staff, IT, maintenance, nannies, and Secondary students, every aspect of the Northbridge family was represented.
Together, we made sure that every cast member, every audience member, every production staff member would have an experience that none of us will ever forget.
Thank you for being there for our kids!
Some moments we will never forget:
Sivheng’s solos
Jimmy’s fireworks
Yordan’s sunglasses
Jonathan’s confetti
Rianna and Alissa’s hula hoops
Skimbleshanks and her trains
MACAVITY!
Congratulations to all on a job well done!
When people think about leadership, what often comes to mind are the concepts of power, decision making, delegating and innovation. Seldom does one think about care, empathy, kindness, and generosity – however these traits that highlight the emotional skills for successful and effective leadership, including by students at Northbridge International School Cambodia, are just as important.
What are the Primary Arts all about? Is it just a load of fun and messing around? It is fun, which is why we love it but there is so much more to the programme than some people might think.
Take a visit to our early learning spaces at Northbridge International School Cambodia, both inside and out, and you will observe a wealth of play activities happening. Students are interacting in playing on their own (solo play), playing with the same thing or in the same space (mirrored play) or sharing together (collaborative play).
