Students will be following the Northbridge Remote Learning Plan for the next two weeks As per advice from the Ministry of Education, Northbridge International School Cambodia will close to students and parents for the next two weeks from Monday 16 to Friday 27 March. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 30 March.

As per advice from the Ministry of Education, Northbridge International School Cambodia will close to students and parents for the next two weeks from Monday 16 to Friday 27 March. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 30 March.

For the duration of the next two weeks we will provide Remote Learning for all students, and all teaching staff will be providing them with online learning support.

PRIMARY

 

Early Learning:
  • Parents can expect daily communication from teachers through SeeSaw. This will include some activities for the day and a message to children.

  • Please send in videos or photos of your child doing the activities so that teachers can respond with individual comments and ideas to further extend their learning.

 

Kindergarten-Grade 3:
  • Parents can expect daily communication from teachers through SeeSaw. This will include activities for the day and a message to children.

  • Please send in videos or photos of your child doing the activities so that teachers can respond the following day with individual comments and ideas to further extend their learning.

  • Login details for online learning such as Spelling Shed, Razkids, and Matific will be shared with parents. Please contact teachers as soon as possible if you have any issues with these.

  • Specialist teachers will send home activities once a week to students on SeeSaw.

 

Grades 4-5:
  • Parents can expect daily communication from teachers through SeeSaw. This will include activities for the day and a message to children.

  • Students will be contacted either by email or Google Chat and set work through Google Classroom. Please ensure that your child is submitting work every day so that teachers can respond the following day with individual feedback.

  • Login details for online learning will be shared with students. Please contact teachers as soon as possible if you have any issues with these.

  • Specialist teachers will send home activities once a week to students on SeeSaw.

SECONDARY

 

Grades 6-12:
  • All teaching staff will remain in contact with students for every subject block on their timetable.

  • All staff will remain available to students during normal teaching hours 7:30am to 3:30pm for that day.

  • Lessons will start with a calendar invite for a Google Hangout. That means that students will have a face-to-face session with each of their teachers.

  • Teachers will then set work for the remainder of the block via Managebac.

  • As we are running the first two weeks in this manner, attendance will be taken and recorded.

  • Subject feedback will be given to students every week.

  • Advisors will check in with the class weekly on Monday at 10:00am to monitor wellbeing.
