Prior to teaching, David worked in the conservation sector in the UK. During this time he was awarded a Millennium Fellowship where he travelled to the Mata Atlantica Rainforest in Brazil to join up with an organization called Earthwatch to work on a forest fragmentation project.
In 2003, David completed his teacher training in the UK and went on to teach in primary schools in London for three years. David then headed off overseas to Thailand. This is where he met his wife, Mameaw. David taught in Thailand for 7 yrs in English and American curriculum schools. He then took up his first position at an IB PYP school in Jakarta, Indonesia. Next stop Cambodia and Northbridge International School. This will be David’s fourth successful year at Northbridge.
David has a grown up daughter back in the UK and when not teaching, enjoys football, rugby, scuba diving and mountain hiking.
