Jack Tse


Mandarin Teacher

Jack Tse graduated from the University of Hong Kong with BNurs (Hons), a course that included exchange experience at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. He took a two year postgraduate course in speech and language science at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and previously taught Mandarin and Cantonese to students with learning difficulties in Hong Kong and Guangzhou.

Jack has two years of experience teaching Mandarin and Cantonese to children with learning difficulties, such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and hearing impairment.

With his background in medicine, psychology and linguistic science, he is confident in teaching non-native speaking children to learn Chinese as their second or third acquired language in a theory and evidence-based approach. 

Jack was the president of student union at his secondary school and chairperson of the student club in the university. His hobbits are hiking, running, and playing frisbee. He is also a lover of Chinese history and culture.
