Secondary Parent "Coffee"
Parents are welcome to join us in an informal "coffee" after the LFA monthly meeting. We will have light refreshments and meet in the Multi-function room. This first informal gathering is intended to connect Secondary parents and have you get to know us in Secondary a bit more. We will focus on general Secondary questions and assessment(approaches to learning) as you will have just received our quarter one progress reports.
LIS, working with our Léman Family Association, offers a Parent Academy. The purpose of this is to help parents address parenting issues and become full partners in their children's success in school and in life. We aim to share best practice from the educational and well-being perspectives and to help parents share their knowledge and experience with each other.
We plan to offer four sessions through out the year.
The first session is on the topic of communication: with your children, with the school/teachers and among children.
Date: November 14 10am Ascott.
Contact Mrs Mindorff (email@example.com" id="LPlnk360679" previewremoved="true" target="_blank">firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have questions, suggestions for topics OR if you can offer to run a session and share your expertise.
