Previously, he was Individuals and Societies Department Head at Suzhou Singapore International School in Suzhou, China before moving to Doha, Qatar, and then returning to China to join Léman.

He believes in the IB mission statement to help develop compassionate and caring learners to prepare students for the real world. Jarrett is interested in biking, swimming, walking and playing with his children outside of school. Additionally, he has also helped MUN, and likes to bike to and from school each day.

Jarrett is accompanied with his wife, Wendy, and his two children, Cheyenne and Austin. The family really enjoys Chengdu and Léman, as they feel this has been the nicest city in China they have visited or lived in. They like all the parks and bike paths to explore in the city, and certainly hot pot and Sichuan cuisine are some of the best food in the world! They look forward to more exciting experiences at both Léman and Chengdu.
