Chris received his degree in History from Sheffield Hallam University in 2009 before going on to complete his PGCE in Primary Education at Liverpool Hope University the following year. He taught in the UK before moving to Cairo, Egypt to take up his first international teaching positon. Chris taught in Key Stage One for many years in British curriculum schools. He then moved to Dubai and taught in Key Stage Two allowing him to gain further experience teaching in another international setting. He moved to NAIS Pudong in 2016 to work as a Year 2 Teacher.
Chris enjoys playing sports especially football and badminton. He likes to travel and see different places around the world. Chris spends his time reading, trying to learn Mandarin and playing strategy games. At weekends, he ventures out of the city to go hiking, kayaking and cycling around the Chinese countryside.
