In November two Dover Court drama students from Year 9 were entered for the FOBISIA Drama Monologue Challenge.
Having participated in our own selection process at school, Lucia was chosen to represent DCIS in the contemporary category with her performance of Roald Dahl's ‘The Witches’ and Dhriti was entered for classical monologue from ‘Richard III’ by Shakespeare.
I am thrilled to announce that Lucia was highly commended for her performance and Dhriti won the classical category for her age group. Both performers received wonderful feedback from the judges at Red Leap Theatre Company. The level of competition was incredibly impressive and all students who entered should be very proud of their achievements.
