The students, parents, teachers and other staff across the Nord Anglia Education family of schools have long been involved in different charitable activities and in November 2010, we started on an exciting journey to bring all our charity and community work into one programme. We are now delighted to unite them under one name, NordStar, the new community investment programme of Nord Anglia Education and support those efforts all the more.

The students, parents, teachers and other staff across the Nord Anglia Education family of schools have long been involved in different charitable activities and in November 2010, we started on an exciting journey to bring all our charity and community work into one programme. We are now delighted to unite them under one name, NordStar, the new community investment programme of Nord Anglia Education and support those efforts all the more.
Over the past year our focus has been on developing our guiding principles that will allow us to deliver long-term support through fundraising, sponsorship and practical hands on help for communities and children around the world less fortunate than ourselves. This process started with an “Ideas Day” in during February 2011, which joined a group of parents, teachers and students from our schools with staff from our Learning Services division, and helped us shape the direction of NordStar.
Helping others thrive
Nord Anglia Education and NordStar have a shared mission – to help others thrive. We see the results of our efforts in the students at our schools, who progress and develop during their time with us. We also see it in the organisations that our Learning Services division shapes and supports. However, there are many more students and communities less fortunate than ourselves that we can reach. We want to reach them because we think all children have the right to fulfil their potential, and because the more we can help them, the better all our futures will be. Not only that, it’s an enriching experience for us all to give our time and expertise in this way.
