Gaining confidence and independence in F1

Gaining confidence and independence in F1 - gaining-confidence-and-independence-in-f1
Gaining confidence and independence in F1 Many new children began their full time program in F1 this week. The children have been fantastic and have grown in confidence and independence. This week they have continued to build on their new school experiences by visiting the specialist teachers in their spaces and we are very proud of how well the children have settled.

The F1 children have shown how they are developing their independence and confidence during their first full week in school. They have enjoyed exploring new environments and gaining new experiences.

The children have shown their independence by feeding themselves at snack and lunchtimes. They practised using their words, showing their manners by trying to ask for food and saying please and thank you. They have also been great at tidying up after lunch.

We have also left the F1 unit this week for the first time, visiting Music with Ms Anna, where we enjoyed singing, playing the instruments and dancing.

We visited Mr Andy in the Library and borrowed our first library books.

We went to the Sports Hall for Physical Development and met Mr Lamech and loved moving in different ways in the large space.

We were very tired after climbing all the stairs so returned back to the F1 unit and showed our great sitting and listening at story time before we went home!
