Thank you to all the BISB families who donated outgrown uniform and participated in our Earth Day Sale series to make your children’s uniform more sustainable.
Our volunteers served 110 families and turned over 53% of our stock saving 110kg from landfills or the equivalent of 184 full primary uniforms over the course of our 2-day sale.
We took in 650,000HUF in sales and exchanged the equivalent of an additional 324,000HUF, a full third of the total value of the sale (33%), proving once again that your outgrown uniform is still very valuable.
As always, many, many thanks to our parent team members who carried, sorted, hung and folded the 251.4kg of uniform available on these two days. Our true eco heroes! A few are pictured below!
This series concludes our Exchange and Sales for this school year. We will begin collecting your outgrown uniform in June for our Exchange and Sales in September. If you are leaving the school, please consider donating all your no-longer-needed uniform so that we may recirculated it among our community.
We wish you all a successful and sustainable summer term!

Uniform Stewardship Project
Early Years children and students in Year 1 and 2 are given three meals a day to help them develop healthy eating habits, as the foundations for this can be laid at an early age.
In Year 7, students are having fun with digital art inspired by the De Stijl movement, learning about artists such as Piet Mondrian.
