Anne-Lise Wahlen receives an award

On 22nd November, Anne-Lise Wahlen received the Professional Development Award at the Nord Anglia Education conference.
  • Anne-Lise Wahlen récompensée pour son engagement

Over the years, Mrs. Anne-Lise Wahlen understood that she could not teach effectively without taking into account the individual needs of her pupils. She therefore sought to improve her methods by, amongst other things, participating in various forums where she exchanges with other colleagues. She is particularly interested in the different methods of differentiation or ways in which to enrich her teaching.

She has guided her pupils through several projects, such as film-making, a class newspaper, a blog, presentations and right now with our iPads, her class is creating educational capsules to implement the reversed class.

She also teaches the school drama; a rich and unifying project that involves many skills.

Nord Anglia has created a new framework. Now, in the role of Head of Pedagogy in French, she is faced with a challenge: to strengthen and improve skills in the subject areas concerned. This situation is a source of new challenges, enrichment and progress because it is in contrast with another language.
