Principal's Welcome

Why is NAISAK special? We bring the best of the world to Al Khor.

  • Principal

Whether you are an existing member of the NAISAK community or are considering us as your school of choice, I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about the exciting events and activities that we provide for our students. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the campus, please contact us to arrange a tour.

At NAISAK, our passion lies in equipping our students with the necessary skills, knowledge and confidence to take on the ever-changing world in the twenty-first century.  Our vision for our students is to, “Be challenged and inspired today, challenge and inspire tomorrow.” This permeates throughout the walls of the campus on a daily basis.

As a member of Nord Anglia Education (NAE), we benefit from programmes that no other schools can offer such as Global Campus where our students can collaborate with learners from all over the world in Nord Anglia Education’s 54 schools. Our students and teachers benefit from the collaboration we have with The Juilliard School, a world leader in performing arts education. We also benefit from our partnership with the United Nations. Two of our students flew to New York in the summer where they participated in discussions with the United National General Assembly.

I believe our curriculum model is ideal as it enables our students to benefit from the rigour of the English National Curriculum in literacy, numeracy and science.  Additionally, the benefits of inquiry are achieved through the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).  This equips our students to be internationally-minded citizens with the necessary skills and confidence to take on the constantly evolving world in the twenty-first century.

Our qualified teachers are primarily from the UK and are passionate about students’ learning.  They work hard to deliver inspirational lessons and perhaps most importantly, are caring professionals.  We appreciate that a student’s well-being is essential to them recognising their academic potential and are proud of the feedback we regularly receive regarding what our warm and welcoming school community.

We are a fully accredited member of British Schools in the Middle East (BSME), Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and have received a five-year re-accreditation from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, which equates to the highest possible rating.

As noted by the inspecting team from an accreditation visit, “The school has established itself as an effective learning community in a short period of time, and has ambitious targets for its future development.”

A warm welcome to NAISAK and I look forward to meeting with you in person.

Dave Pontich
