Rebecca Blackelari

College Counselor

University admission has been my home for the last eight years. I’ve worked specifically with international students at Newbury College, Berklee College of Music and most recently at Emerson College. I am passionate about advising all students during their journeys to college.

I am drawn to helping both american as well as international students since the time when I was considered international during my year abroad in New Zealand. I think there is so much to be learned cross culturally and so much to give as well.

I grew up in a foodie environment. My parents have owned a bakery my whole life and I love to cook and bake. My husband and I are pretty active; I love yoga and rock climbing (to counter all the baked goods) and we love day-tripping to the North Shore and the islands.

what makes this school different

I cannot wait to work in a secondary school environment. Being in university admissions allowed me to work with students at the end of their decision process, but I’ve always been more interested in the journey.
