The Force is strong, indeed! Secondary students, staff and parents united in support of our annual Tanzania Expedition, raising approximately $3,000 by making donations to see an exclusive showing of the latest "Star Wars" film.

As part of Nord Anglia Education's global family 42 schools, BISC students take part in an annual journey to Tanzania, where NAE has established and supports a school that serves the local community. Each year, a group of Year 12 students at BISC travels to the Tanzania school to complete service projects that help sustain it. This year they'll be refurbishing and revitalizing the school complex, and installing solar panels. To support the work our students will complete onsite, they must raise at least $6,000. Thanks to our "Star Wars" fundraiser, our fundraising efforts are well underway.

Well done to the organizers of the screening and to all the BISC community members who supported the cause. We are so proud!
