OUR ICS PARENT ASSOCIATION

At International College Spain, we are very fortunate to have a dedicated and supportive school community who recognise that the education of our students is a partnership between school and home. We recognise the importance of good working relationships to equip our children with the necessary skills on their journeys as life-long learners.

Teacher and parent talking

We feel that efficient communication and working in collaboration with our parents is essential to the philosophy of our school. We value, consult and meet with the Parent Association Representative groups regularly to ensure a strong partnership.

We foster positive connections by:

Educational and Non-Educational Matters Committees

The School and PA Class Representatives meet each term to discuss educational and non-educational issues which may arise. These meeting are very effective and resolve many concerns parents may have. They are also used to give commendations and present future plans.

Giving Back to our Communities with Events and Fundraising

To nurture our strong community spirit, the PA Events and Care Committees work with our school to put on community events such as an International Bazaar, Winter Market or Welcome Paella Party. These events raise money for our Care Committee approved charities. Recently we raised over €42.000 for the charities specialising in rare diseases, plus over €10.000 for UNICEF from a range of book and bake sales.

ICS Parent App

The ICS Parent App is a one-stop-shop for general information, event dates, communications, curriculum overviews, menus, photos, newsletters and other important information to reinforce the efficient communication flow between our school and parents.

There are many opportunities to be involved and support our solid community partnerships.
