Launch of Robotics Club

This past week excitement has been high in the ICT department.  We took delivery of our first robot kits this term and the response from the students has been phenomenal.  Over 70 students wanted to join our first robotics club.  It was so popular that we have decided to run a girls robotics club and a boys robotics club.  The girls club is run at lunchtime and although lunch was taken, food was forgotten and the girls got engrossed in building their robots.  As for the boys, one member of the club said “this has been the best day of my life!”  As a conclusion to the robot building skills we will have a robot competition and may the best person win!
